Mandelbaum/Kahn Straw-bale House (Series 2)

This series picks up where Series 1 leaves off, at the time when I bought a digital point-and-shoot camera for documenting projects such as this. Here we see the roof going on, the bales going in, and the plaster going on. I left after we completed the first interior coat of plaster; I returned in January 2004 to do the finish plaster, but took no photos.

I went back for a visit in September 2004 to see the finished house after Rich and Gabi had been living in it for a while.
