The second night at the youth hostel proved fruitful: the girl who came to play guitar that night sold me her ticket to the sold-out Fugazi show. It turned out that she wasn't able to go, and she was pleased to get her $7.50 back. It's good to see the boys are at least keeping up with inflation, since I paid $6 to see them play in Albany about 9 years earlier.
I got there early enough to hear the opening band suck, then I luckily made my way to the stage just before the rest of the audience decided to do the same. The place was packed beyond any level of safety or comfort (I couldn't move around at all, as you can see from the single point of view in all of these photos) but the band put on a solid show and the crowd really seemed to enjoy it.
